Oh, man. The good old days. The nostalgia is so bittersweet.

Syd Barett hatte leider die falschen Freunde gehabt. Er hang zuviel mit den Junkies ab.. Seine schlechte Zeit hat nicht mit Pink Floyd angefangen, sowie es seiner Schwester Rosmarie erzählt hat.. Seine schlechte Zeit hat mit seiner Wohngemeinschaft angefangen in der er gelebt hat!!! Als man Syd 1968 rausgeschmissen hat,weil er nicht mehr in der Lage war den richtigen Tonleiter zu spielen, hätte Syd ja eine Therapie machen können... Das hat er aber leider nicht getan.. 1970 bei seinen 2 Soloplatten hat Syd weiterhin Drogen genommen... Eine Katastrophe!!! Drogensucht ist eine Krankheit. Aus Syd Barett hätte was werden können.. Er ist als Maler und Musiker gescheitert.. 1972 hat er es mit der Gruppe Stars nochmals versucht.. Es hat aber nicht geklappt.. Auch hier hatte Syd bei den Live-Auftritten seine Aussetzer gehabt!!! Ich denke sein Gehirn hat schon über die vielen Jahren des Drogenkonsum seine irreparabelen Schaden gehabt!!! Syd Barett war ein talentierter begabter junger Mann.. Die Drogen haben sein Leben versaut.. Leider ist Syd nicht aus dem Auto gestiegen als man Syd zum Psychiater gefahren hat. Ob er jemals eine Therapie gemacht hat weiß ich nicht???

Unfortunately, Syd Barett had the wrong friends. He hung out with junkies too much. His bad times didn't start with Pink Floyd, as his sister Rosmarie told him. His bad times started with the shared flat he lived in!!! When Syd was thrown out in 1968 because he was no longer able to play the right scale, Syd could have had therapy... But unfortunately he didn't. In 1970, when he released his two solo albums, Syd continued to take drugs... A catastrophe!!! Drug addiction is an illness. Syd Barett could have become something. He failed as a painter and musician. In 1972 he tried again with the group Stars... But it didn't work out. Here, too, Syd had his blackouts during live performances!!! I think his brain had already suffered irreparable damage from the many years of drug use!!! Syd Barett was a talented, gifted young man. Drugs ruined his life. Unfortunately, Syd didn't get out of the car when they took him to the psychiatrist. I don't know if he ever had therapy???

Yeah.. I was with the TTG , BBB and on my own, but mostly did the tags and top to bottom on the A and 1 only cuz it was my route back home in Washington heights! I just hope this kid who got me into it when we were in the 7th grade got to be a famous painter. His tag was SASO my was REME or Mac5. He could draw some really really amazing Leonardo DaVinci’s drawing and painting with such an accuracy that’s just wow you from your feet! Back then, it was the only thrill we got to express our minds and spent time out cuz being at home was such a boring time with no techies stuff to replaced with! 😊 BTW, I did make it through college with BSEE and came out fine. Art, Science, Music and Math are the language of the Universe! Peace out bro 😎
